We have added some new content to the Gallery and brought every page on the site up to date with current events of 2012. With that, we say farewell. To be brief, Route29 was even more unimpressive than the samples indicated, and was the last blow our beaten fandom could take. Combine that with our busy lives and we simply don't care to maintain this site any longer. Street Story will remain online indefinitely as it's a great resource for HY from 2001-2012, however we're abandoning the "www.hystreetstory.com" domain name and will be moving to hystreetstory.legends-station.com.


Today HY put up more information and samples for their upcoming 8th album, Route29. After listening to the fairly unimpressive samples and seeing that our HY news page still had Route29 titled as "Untitled" (despite the fact that the title has been known for quite some time), we decided to dump the "HY News" concept from the site and just keep this page around for site updates. The site never has kept on top of their current events very well, and while PARADE may have been excellent, their other activities of late haven't been so much, and... we just don't care enough to continue doing lacklustre reports on their activities. Any English fans who want to follow HY's events as they happen should just follow their official news page. Google Translate works well enough.

We do have some new content for the Lyrics page today- Departure and PARADE are now both fully outfitted with Japanese lyrics. Hopefully we'll get around to seeing about some more romaji for these albums, but in the meantime they have something now. And PARADE has one translated song... just because it was available.


Added TI-CHI TA-CHI MI-CHI PARADE TOUR to the discography.


As opposed to multiple small updates we opted for one big one. The following has been updated:
-The Band: Profiles, History and Timeline have all been updated accordingly.
-Discography: Added PARADE, Relation Ship, HY's Takaramono and filled in the Miscellaneous section.
-Lyrics: Nothing new yet, but the list has been updated to match their current discography.
-Lives: Added live performances from the past two years.

This pretty much brings the site completely up to date with current events, so any future updates can now serve to fill in existing pages. Long live Street Story!


Been well over a year since Street Story has seen any updates, and it's really fallen behind the times. The primary reason being that the webmasters felt that Whistle was unbelievably bad, as were most of HY's subsequent releases. This dampened site enthusiasm considerably and we nearly closed up shop, however their latest album PARADE turned out to be quite good, restoring our faith in HY and inspiring us to get back on the ball.

In this update the news page has of course been updated to reflect the present a bit better, and the Links page has been refreshed with broken links fixed and new links added.
It's small, but hey, gotta start somewhere. Expect more updates to the site's content in the coming weeks.


Finally added ACHI SOUND ~HY LOVE SUMMER~ to the discography.


Created a page for HY's upcoming DVD release, MACHIKANTY SO-TANDOH TOUR 2010.
Also added the Whistle Band Score to the books.


Three years to the day since it was founded, Street Story has been completely rebuilt from the ground up! In addition to obtaining its very own domain name the site has been heavily refined and improved upon with much more content, easier navigation, standards compliant code and more! This should also make updates more frequent down the road as there is still much content yet to come.
